Our guarantees start on the day of purchase. When making a claim you will need the original receipt as proof of purchase.
What is covered under the guarantee?
The extent of the limited guarantee given for each product is described alongside each product below.
Duration of guarantee:
Each guarantee lasts for the number of years stated against each product below, starting from the date of purchase.
What will be done to correct the problem?
IKEA will examine the product and decide if it’s covered under this guarantee. IKEA will then, at its choice, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. In these cases, IKEA will be responsible for the costs of repairs, spare parts, labor and travel for repair staff that IKEA incurs, provided that the product is accessible for repair without IKEA incurring additional expenditure to gain access.
This will not apply in cases where repair work has not been authorized by IKEA. Any defective parts removed in the course of repair works will become the property of IKEA. If the item is no longer sold by IKEA, IKEA will provide an appropriate replacement. IKEA will decide at its discretion, what will constitute an appropriate replacement.
Conditions:
The guaranties are valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.
Exclusions:
The guarantees do not apply to products that have been stored or assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products. The guaranties do not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents.
The guarantees do not apply if products have been placed outdoors or in a humid environment or if the products have been used for non-domestic purposes (unless otherwise stated). The guarantee does not cover consequential or incidental damages. For details see the guarantee conditions and description for each product.
Care instructions:
To be able to claim this limited guarantee you need to follow the specific care instructions for every product. You will find all care instructions with or on the product in the IKEA stores.
General legal rights:
This limited guarantee gives you specific legal rights. This limited guarantee does not, in any way, affect the rights given to you by law.

Contact us here on soon in our local IKEA store. You will find the address and phone number in the IKEA Catalog or at IKEA.com.mx. Save your sales receipt as proof of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for the limited guarantee to be valid.

What is covered under this guarantee?
The warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship and operation of the following components of the chairs and seat supports:

What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee covers defects in materials and manufacturing in all IKEA appliances.
Kitchen taps and faucets, UTRUSTA wire baskets
What is covered under this guarantee?
This warranty covers material and manufacturing defects in kitchen faucets and mixer taps, as well as UTRUSTA wire baskets. Our kitchen taps are certified under international standards and we only use very good qualitycomponents to guarantee them for 10 years
Cooking
IKEA 365+ knives
What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee covers defects in materials and manufacturing in all IKEA 365+ knives. Which means that, subjectto normal domestic use and following our maintenance instructions, the knives will continue to function the sameas when they were new, even after 15 years.
Regarding this, normal domestic use is defined as its use for cuttingfood, cleaning the knife by hand once a day and sharpening on a regular basis.
This guarantee covers:
- Sharpening of the knife. The knife must be sharp when purchased and you will need to be able to keep it sharp for proper operation. The blade is made of strengthened steel, so it will be possible for the knife to be sharp likethe first day at least during the warranty period.
- Durable handle. The knife handle must not break, break, or come loose from the blade; in which case the knife cannot be used.
- That the blade does not corrode.
Pots and pans SENSUELL & VARDAGEN
What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee covers defects in materials and manufacturing in all SENSUELL and VARDAGEN products.The guarantee covers the bases of the products. We guarantee that the base will retain its shape and its heatconduction properties.
IKEA 365+ cookware
What is covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee covers:
- Defects in materials and manufacturing of IKEA 365+ Pots and Pans.
- Base stability. In other words, that the base is kept flat to transmit heat efficiently.
- Dishwasher safe. It has no negative consequences on the function of stainless-steel articles. Please note,however, that all non-stick coated products and all cast iron products should always be hand washed.
- Non-stick properties of frying pans with non-stick coating. This means that IKEA 365+ non-stick productsare easy to clean and can be used for low-fat cooking for at least 5 years.
